I was born in Agartala, Tripura. I lived in Mumbai for many years. An actress by profession in the Hindi Film & Television industry, popularly known as Bollywood. I have acted in Theatre, Television, and Films. MAA – The Touch of India, is a dream platform that I am trying to shape every day for last two years. A platform where you as a customer or a business will get quality products at reasonable prices. A platform where Indian Artisans can connect and share their stories and products. Also, a platform for all mothers where they can shop what they love, and share their moments with us and the World. So far, we have also physically showcased our products at a few spiritual and trade fairs in the US. The Touch of India, is the touch of our Indian Artisans. In the future, my dream is to showcase our beautiful made-in-India products globally. Your blessings will help us grow.

With MAA – The Touch of India, our goal is to bring handpicked and preferably handmade quality products for you at the correct prices. From Sarees to Fashion & Traditional jewellery, Handcrafted Jewellery to Handcrafted Jute Bags, Shawls, Stoles & Scarves, T-shirts, and so on. We are also emphasizing on choosing more nature-friendly products.
The reason we started MAA – The Touch of India is because we wanted to do something that will not just benefit you as a buyer and us as a seller, but will also help Artisans who make these products. Our dreams were big and our capacity was extremely limited. When we started this journey 2 years ago, we wanted to do something so we could help Artisans in India. We wanted to promote Made in India products globally. We showcased our products in the US. For 2 years, it was an extremely tough and tiring journey. There are times we feel we cannot go on, but then we sense as if God is telling us to go on.
You must know, that we are not any non-profit organization, and your every purchase will help us first as a business to sustain, and if we successfully survive then we can help some others along. Together we can help a few Artisans who get less to no help.
